Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

What You’ll Do: (depends on client needs):

• Connect well and offer compassionate companionship with clients
• Provide for the personal needs and comfort of in their own homes
• Follow individualized client care plans with oversight from the Registered Nurse
• Personal care (bathing, toileting)
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Assistance with medical devices
• Transportation assistance to and from the activities and appointments
• Companionship
• Communicate professionally with families and your team members
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Current CPR and First Aid certifications
3. Clean criminal background screening
4. Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
5. Clean driving record
6. Home care experience preferred
7. Access to email and a mobile smart device
8. Satisfactory initial and annual TB screening test
9. Aware of client ethics and confidentiality of care
10. Ability to communicate both verbal and written
11. Capable of working responsibly with confidential information
12. Must be able to work independently

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Corrected visual and hearing acuity required.
